The technical core of what we do. Damaged, dull or uneven natural stone taken back to a flat, uniform, correctly sealed finish using graded diamond tooling — from 50-grit metal bond for lippage through to 3000-grit resin and crystallization for a mirror gloss.
The finishing stage that produces gloss. Fine resin-bonded diamonds from 800 grit upward refine the honed surface until it reflects cleanly, then a polishing compound reacts with the calcium carbonate in the stone to harden the very top layer. Suited to floors that are already flat and only need their shine returned.
Where tiles have been laid unevenly, you can feel the edges underfoot and see the shadow lines across the floor. Metal-bonded diamonds at 50 grit and below cut the high edges down until the floor is a single flat plane. This is the only stage that can genuinely fix an uneven floor, and nothing after it will hide a floor that skipped it.
Mid-range grits between 100 and 400 remove scratches, etch marks and dull patches, leaving an even satin surface. Honing is both a stage on the way to gloss and a finish in its own right — increasingly the specification for bathrooms and pool surrounds, where a matte floor is far less slippery underfoot.
A crystallizing fluid worked into the stone under a weighted rotary machine with steel wool. The heat and friction drive a chemical reaction at the surface that leaves a genuinely harder, more reflective microlayer. It is what gives hotel lobbies the deep wet-looking gloss that survives heavy footfall.
Etching from vinegar, citrus, wine or the wrong cleaning chemical eats into the stone and cannot be wiped away — it has to be abraded out. Deep scratches are worked back through the grit sequence. Yellowing and rust marks are drawn out with poultices matched to the stain before any abrasive work begins.
A penetrating sealer soaks into the stone's pores and blocks liquids from entering, without leaving a film on the surface or altering the finish. Correct sealing is what buys you the years between restorations. We select the product against the porosity of your specific stone and re-apply every 12 to 18 months under maintenance contracts.
Different stones need different tooling, different chemistry and different expectations. Granite takes a harder abrasive and a deeper gloss; travertine needs its voids filled before honing; terrazzo behaves like concrete with marble chips in it. We treat each on its own terms.
Granite is far harder than marble and needs more aggressive tooling to cut, but rewards it with a deeper and more durable gloss. Common on lobby floors, staircases and kitchen counters across Abu Dhabi. We restore and reseal without dulling the crystalline fleck that makes the stone worth having.
Travertine is naturally full of open voids. Left unfilled they collect grit and darken until the floor looks permanently dirty. We fill the holes with colour-matched resin, hone flat, then finish honed or polished to your preference.
Terrazzo hides its condition well until it is ground — then the aggregate opens up and the floor looks new. Common in older Abu Dhabi institutional and villa flooring, and almost always worth restoring rather than covering over.
Softer and more acid-sensitive than marble, so they mark easily and need a gentler grit sequence and a more careful sealer choice. Onyx in particular is usually translucent and backlit, which means every flaw in the finish shows.
Kitchen tops, vanities and bar counters in marble, granite, quartz or Corian. Hand-worked with compact tooling, edges and bullnoses included, sealed for food-contact use. Usually completed in a single visit without removing the top.
Cleaning that goes past mopping. Rotary and pressure extraction on stone and tile, grout lines cleaned back to their original colour or recoloured, and scheduled maintenance that keeps a restored floor from ever needing restoring again.
Rotary agitation and pressure extraction that pulls soil out of the surface instead of pushing it around. For stone, tile, porcelain and terrazzo where the floor is structurally fine but has simply gone grey with time.
Grout is porous and holds everything the floor has ever seen. We drive it out with rotary brushes and extraction, and where the grout is stained past recovery we recolour it to a uniform shade and seal it so it stays that way.
The clean-down between handover and occupation. Cement haze, grout film, paint spots, adhesive residue, silicone smears and fine dust removed from stone and glass — and any damage the trades left in the floor put right before the client ever sees it.
A full interior deep clean built around the floors rather than bolted on beside them. Useful before a handover, after a renovation, or ahead of a property being listed or let.
Scheduled visits that keep a restored floor at its handover condition — routine buffing, re-crystallization on traffic lanes and resealing on a fixed cycle. Materially cheaper than paying for a full restoration again in three years, which is what happens without it.

We take gloss-meter readings across the floor, walk it with you, record the result on the handover sheet and leave written aftercare instructions for the specific stone.
A straightforward polish and seal on a 200 m² villa floor is typically one to two days. If the floor needs grinding for lippage, allow three to four. Large commercial areas are phased across nights and quoted with a programme so you know exactly which zone is closed when.
Yes, and most of our residential work is done exactly that way. We seal off the working area with sheeting, run extraction continuously and complete the floor room by room so you always have usable space. Bedrooms are normally scheduled so you are never without one.
Far less than people expect. Grinding and honing are wet processes, so the residue is a contained slurry rather than airborne dust, and it is extracted as it is produced. Dry stages run under vacuum extraction. Adjacent areas are sheeted regardless.
We quote a target in gloss units and measure it before handover. Above 85 GU is a true mirror finish. Some stones will not reach that no matter what is done to them — heavily filled travertine, for example — and we will tell you that at survey rather than after taking the job.
Every twelve to eighteen months for most floors, sooner in wet areas and heavy-traffic commercial spaces. A simple water-drop test tells you: if water darkens the stone within a couple of minutes instead of beading, the sealer has gone.
Per square metre, fixed after the site survey. The rate depends on the stone, its condition and which stages it needs — a polish and seal is considerably cheaper than a full grind. You get one written number covering everything, and it does not change afterwards.
Twelve months on workmanship, in writing. If the finish fails within that period through anything we did or did not do, we return and correct it at no charge. It does not cover fresh damage, acid etching from cleaning chemicals, or missed resealing.
